Triples is all week starting today, so there's going to me more where this came from :) Plus new/more coupons from this Sunday's paper, I can't wait to see what we end up with.

Then I went to Walgreens to see if they stocked any more Nivea or Glucose meters, and of course they hadn't. BUT I found the stupid Bayer Quick Release Crystals I had been looking for, up by the counter!

I realize now looking at the picture, the tampons have plastic applicators, and I hate that. And they're scented, and I hate that too. I'm going to have to suck it up though, because I don't know what will happen if I return them, I paid less on the transaction than I did on the box ^_^

Cost: $1.37
Total after rebates: -$3.13
Savings: $11.49

Jeff has duty today so I've got the whole day to clean house and drive around to a few WAGS :) Good thing the temperatures are down a bit today!

Cost: $3.62 Savings: $34.91

What a trip! Things got really messy at checkout because the Electrasol is B1G1, so one rings up 2.50 and the second rings 2.49. Well, mine didn't do that. I brought (3) up, because I had (3) 2.50/1 coupons. I knew one coupon would beep because it would say the item is 2.49 and the Q is 2.50, but the manager usually comes over and overrides it. Well Jeff and I decided to go through the self checkout, and I'm glad we did! Because of all the trouble and confusion, the lady (who was so sweet! I'm going to call the store and tell them she's awesome) gave me a fourth one free!

I love it when people are nice to crazy coupon people like me, because there are a lot of people that look at me and my coupons and think I'm cheap or something. I just love a deal!!!! I love shopping, and if it's going to be free or almost free shopping, I get my "fix", the store gets their money (plus .08 from the manufacturer for each Q), and everyone wins. Though I couldn't decipher the receipt properly for you (I can't even figure it out myself), here's a simple layout of what went down:

4.99 Electrasol Powder
4.99 Electrasol Powder
4.99 Electrasol Powder
4.99 Electrasol Powder
6.19 Jose Ole Taquitos
6.19 Jose Ole Taquitos

And here is a link to a site that actually does what it says, gives you $5-$75 per survey! I have done about 7 of these so far, so it is legit. I promise. And once you earn $50 they mail you a check.

Most of the surveys are this: you do the "free trial" (that just about every site you've ever seen try to sell you something has) on a website (I've done stamps.com, a credit check site, and just signed up for a free ring from some jewelry site to name a few) and then review it - the product, the ease of the site, any customer service, etc. The catch? You have to be honest in trying the product ie. No false credit cards. And you do already know that the "free trial" can turn in to a monthly charge, right? Good. Because you do have to remember to cancel on your own.

I think I explained all the fine print. If it's something you think you could do on the side please sign up! I get $5 for referring you! Thanks!

I did not want to stop this morning, but I also didn't want to be gone for more than an hour :) By the end of the week I will have something like 13 Glucose meters to donate to a food bank or hospital, whenever I find one. 13 meters and lots of other things of course! I will post a pic of the donation items whenever I find a place to give them to (and make sure they give me the proper tax write off sheet ;) My time's worth a tax write off, isn't it?)

I put my total profit at $4.82 because I'm factoring in the idea that I'm going to use my last free Crest coupon and submit it for rebate (because I will, duh).

*sigh* Yesterday was so great. My last post said "I'm fairly certain this is my best yet :)" but I'm PRETTY SURE I just trampled that. Into dust.
